Random Sheena post. lol. Glad your Internet is working better! ^_^
I really hate my dad now. He's been jumping down people's throats and he's stressed and completely oblivious to that he isn't the only one. I've had, uh, never mind. There's just something painful going on that feels like something you girls have to go through. Enough said.
Other things stressing me out include, but are not limited to, my goal of a better life (and the means of getting it being really hard to attain); dealing with family all weekend long; and just life in general being so crappy. He takes out his stress on others, I find the means to get through it. He's stressing me out even more with his rudeness and that he doesn't understand me.
Sounds like you're getting the same amount of precipitation as we are. We still have too much snow and the roads can be really, really icy. That is not a good thing. We need a thaw, a long enough one to make the roads better yet not enough to make the grass show. That'll be enough snow for the rest of the winter.
The country, huh? I live near a city and have easy access to everything I need to. I wouldn't like to live in the country, though a small town might be nice. I'd like to have neighbors and a grocery store and places to hang out, the country really doesn't give much of that.
Nobody can really hate Pokemon. I do the best job I can to describe what's going on, and you can always check serebii.net for info on a particular species. Just click on "D/P/Pt Pokedex" and use the alphabetical tabs to find what I'm talking about. It's not as heavily Pokemon as others are, it's more into the deep plot and characters.
I'm a realist, I really don't think like that. A job at McDonald's would be miserable and not worth the .5% chance that someone will be looking for a writer for something. I probably would not enjoy working in that environment. It seems to be a sweaty place and the food is horrible, nothing like it used to be. I may enjoy the people I work with but the actual job is the turn-off. It is not my thing.
I never read TV show recaps unless I want to look back on one I saw or have no other choice because I missed an episode and our TiVo box screwed up. It's just boring to read adaptations from one to the other. Books turned into movies, for instance. The book is better 95% of the time if the movie follows the exact same plot. Sometimes, though, things are radically different and they only borrow some ideas and change others to fit it into the appropriate timeframe. Though there are some movies that are just better because you can visualize them. Some written scenes are hard to imagine, I try my best in my writing to not do something radical and hard to visualize in my writing, though some of my scenes can get a little absurd.
I probably need some new pants myself but otherwise I'm good. Remember: Don't spend money on something you'll only wear twice. WANT versus NEED. Think hard about how often you'll wear something. And don't buy anything that your mom wouldn't want you to wear or make your friends call you ugly.
Clothes are important if you need them, though entertainment is important as well. Though $20 for a new CD is a bit steep, most of them are $10 nowadays. And, of course, you can pirate stuff. I don't really listen to much mainstream country, just country-pop (Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, etc.).
As for "what happened," you have a lot to read, Sheena...
